President

Hello all! I love being a member of the Western Fairfax ZTA Alumnae Chapter and I’m so excited to be serving as President this year. I attended James Madison University as an undergrad and was a member of the Gamma Kappa chapter - Go Dukes!! I’ve been in education for a number of years, working with students spanning from Kindergarten to grad school, and I’m currently the Learning Specialist at a school in DC. It truly warms my heart to help students of all ages experience every success possible. I’ve been awarded the Alumnae Certificate of Merit in ZTA and the Teacher of the Year award at two schools. In my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, read, attend concerts (Joe Jackson was a recent favorite), and throw a good party! I live my life by the motto “to whom much is given, much is expected,” and I enjoy participating in our chapter’s sisterhood, service, and social activities. I look forward to seeing you at a future Western Fairfax ZTA event!

VP Programming

Hi! I am so excited to serve the Western Fairfax alumnae chapter as the VP of Programming this year! I attended Christopher Newport University and was a member of the Kappa Phi chapter. I am a preschool special education teacher in Fairfax county; this is my fifth year and I absolutely love it! When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read a good book and spend time outside. I am so excited to see what this year has in store!

Hi! I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I joined the Gamma Xi Chapter of ZTA. I have been a member of several alumnae chapters since graduating and have held many officer and chair positions. This year, I am happy to serve as VP1 Programming. For work, I am a Senior Director, Recruiting for a large government contractor. My son is 28, and we have a 19 year old cat and a 1 year old Sheepadoodle. In my free time, I travel to beach whenever I can, exercise daily, always have a puzzle and book in process, and enjoy socializing with my Zeta sisters & friends.

VP Communications / Alumni Collegiate Relations

Hello! I attended Christopher Newport University and was a member of the Kappa Phi chapter. I am so excited to serve the Western Fairfax chapter as our VP of Communications and Collegiate/Alumni relations chair. I’m a 3rd grade teacher in Fairfax county and absolutely love my job. I love spending time with friends, family and my zeta sisters! In my free time I love staying active, bowling, going to concerts and being outside. I cannot wait for all the fun this year with my sisters!
